How SugarDaddyMeet works: what you see after you register
SugarDaddyMeet is five tabs across the top of the screen, a Live Support button in the corner and a Quick Exit that drops you on Google. Registration and browsing are free; under the FAQ rule last updated 13 July 2026, a chat needs Premium on at least one side.
Still deciding whether to join? Our review weighs it up, and the cost page has the prices.

What are the five tabs on SugarDaddyMeet?
SugarDaddyMeet has five tabs once you are logged in: Discover, Features, Chats, Contacts and Me.
- DiscoverOn 3 October 2026 the screen had five tabs: Flame (one photo at a time), Gallery (the filtered list), 1:1 Meetup, Premium (members who currently pay) and SDM Select. Filters are on Gallery.
- FeaturesMeetup, Moments, Blogs and Videos. Member-made content rather than matching.
- ChatsPrivate messages, Free Winks, 1:1 Meetup requests, the Groups list and Notes.
- ContactsLikes You, Viewed You, Saved, Matches and You Like. Seeing who is behind the first two is a Premium privilege.
- MeYour profile, membership, verifications, Get Our App, and Settings, where privacy, pause and delete are.
How is Flame different from Gallery?
Flame shows you one member's photo at a time and asks you to heart it or pass; Gallery is a list you shape with filters. If two members heart each other in Flame, SugarDaddyMeet emails both. Passing does not hide someone for good, and Reset Flame Passes exists, though it is on the Premium privileges list. Unlimited swipes are a Premium privilege, which implies a free cap the FAQ does not state.
Gallery is the view you will spend most time in: a scrolling list of cards in the order you chose, with searches you can save. Premium lists members who currently pay, each with a PREMIUM MEMBER badge. 1:1 Meetup is requests to meet in person. SDM Select is a separate tab. On the two accounts we opened on 3 October 2026, both registered in Canada, Flame, 1:1 Meetup and SDM Select were not a United Kingdom list, so we would not count UK members from them. Gallery, filtered to the United Kingdom, is the list we counted. On 15 September 2026 that filter, set to women, returned 118 cards and none carried the Premium badge. A later sample is in the UK members guide.
Which filters are free and which need Premium?
Every SugarDaddyMeet member gets three basic filters. Everything else is on the Premium privileges list as Unlock Advanced Discover Filters, and the advanced screen's first line says those filters reset when Premium expires.
Basics, free
- Gender, and you can tick both
- Age range, 20 to 99
- Location: Anywhere, or Living in a country and region
Advanced, Premium only
- Sort, on the screen we read on 3 October 2026: Newest, Recently active, Oldest, Youngest, Nearest, Most photos
- Photo Verified
- Open to Relocating or Travelling to Meet
- Near My Location, 50 to 10,000 miles
- Height, education, religion, ethnicity
- Smoking, drinking, children, body type
- Relationship status
- Hobbies and interests
- Women's Premium adds a filter by annual income and net worth; both are tiers members pick themselves, not checked figures.
Filters change the list you see and nothing else: the screen warns that members outside your filters can still message you. For the UK the radius matters more than the country. 32 of the 118 UK women's cards we counted were in London, so a man in Leeds or Glasgow gets more from Near My Location than from Living in. The UK cities guide shows the spread city by city.
What does a profile show?
A SugarDaddyMeet profile appears twice: as a card in Gallery and as a full page. The card shows username, age, a region code (a London card reads something like Tower Hamlets, LND, GBR), the travel tag if set, the first line of the bio, a photo count, an Online Now marker and a PREMIUM MEMBER badge where one applies. The full page is built from these fields.
- About Me and About My Match. The bio, and who they want, under a one-line headline. The profile guide covers what to put in each.
- My Basics. Relationship status, height, body type, eye and hair colour, ethnicity, languages, occupation, drinking, dining style, travel preference and music. All optional; the UK profiles we opened had filled in three.
- Looking for. Gender, an age range and a region on one line, for example M, 30 to 60, Anywhere.
- Public and private albums. Up to 26 photos in each. Private needs a Request Access click and the owner's approval.
- Two tags. Willing to meet within 7 days, and Open to relocating or travelling to meet, both set by the member, unchecked. 88 of the 118 UK women's cards we counted carried the travel tag.
- Income and net worth. Annual Income runs from Less than $200K to $5M+ and Net Worth up to $100M+, each with a prefer-not-to-say option. Neither showed on the profiles we opened. The income field itself is self-declared; the platform's income-related checks are separate and optional (its Verify Credit Level badge, and the income verification it advertises for men on its UK page).
- Three free actions. Send Free Wink, Remind (a nudge to upload photos) and Add comments or suggestions on my profile.
How do winks and chats work?
A wink on SugarDaddyMeet is a free preset or short custom greeting that lands under Free Winks in the other person's Chats tab; a chat is a private thread, and it needs Premium on at least one side. By the platform's own FAQ count a free account gets 20 winks a day for its first three days and 40 a day after that; Premium is unlimited.
Only premium members can start a conversation. At least one person in a conversation must hold an active Premium membership for the chat to stay open. Both sentences are from the FAQ entry last updated 13 July 2026. Replying is free, so many women never subscribe. If the paying member's Premium lapses, the thread closes for both unless the other person holds Premium. On 3 October 2026 a man's account and a woman's account were shown the same prices: Premium at $300 a month or $800 for three months (one complimentary month with the three-month plan). The man's Premium list had 43 items and the woman's 42, with Human Concierge™, personal support and hand-picked matches at the top of both. Other sites still quote an older list of $50, $90 and $144. The platform publishes no price list, so read the cost page and then your own payment page.
Matches expire: the chat list we read carried a thread marked Match expired, and Reconnect with Expired Matches is a Premium privilege, though the FAQ does not say how long a match lasts. You can unsend a message within 5 minutes, and the other side sees a note that you did. Conversations can be hidden and members blocked, but there is no permanent delete: we found none in Settings, and one Reddit poster complained about the same gap in July 2025.
What does the Verified photo badge mean?
A Verified photo badge on SugarDaddyMeet means the member recorded a selfie video of 3 to 8 seconds and a reviewer agreed it matched their profile photos, within 24 hours. It does not mean their income, job, intentions, health or criminal record were checked. That is the platform's own list, from an FAQ entry dated 28 July 2026.
The footage is confidential and, the FAQ says, cannot be viewed by anyone after submission, including you. The badge is cancelled if you delete every public photo. Verification is free, in the platform's words "for now", with mobile number, ID and credit-level checks offered as extras. Expect to be asked for it: in a March 2025 Reddit thread a paying member reported being blocked from messaging until he completed the video, and one other poster said the same. The salt daddy guide covers what a badge cannot catch.
What is in the Features tab?
The Features tab on SugarDaddyMeet is Meetup, Moments, Blogs and Videos, with the Groups list under Chats. None of it is matching, and in the UK there is not much of it. A 1:1 Meetup is a dated invitation with a type (Coffee & Tea, Dining, Shopping, Travel, Music & Concert) that members request to join; only the host sees who asked, and creating one is a Premium privilege. A Group Meetup adds a headcount and an approval switch. When we read both lists, from an account whose current location was set to the United States, nearly every listing was in the United States, one was in Canada, and none was in the UK.
Groups is 551 chat rooms. On the first page we loaded, 31 carried an Official tag (Public Group, Anonymous Social Group, Men Only Group, Coffee Chat, Travel Tales and so on) and the rest were member-made, some carrying wording the platform's own guidelines ban. The rooms are something to watch rather than a place to meet anyone: in an August 2025 Reddit thread one poster counted about ninety-nine women's messages for every man's in two of them. Moments is a feed of photo posts, marked Verified photo where the poster has the badge. Blogs is long-form, mostly self-promotion in what we read.
Is there a SugarDaddyMeet app?
SugarDaddyMeet has an Android app and no iPhone app, as of October 2026: an APK from the Get Our App page for Android, not Google Play (install only from that page, it says), and Safari's Add to Home Screen for iPhone. The FAQ entry of 13 March 2026 says all features are available on the mobile site; we have not tested that claim ourselves. The apps guide walks through the iPhone workaround step by step.
Live Support, in the corner of every screen, opens a chat the platform says runs around the clock and replies usually within 30 seconds; the phone numbers the site gives for support are North American. In Settings, turn on two-factor authentication. Hide me from all members and Browse anonymously are Premium-only and reset when Premium expires. What happens once you have matched is in the first date guide.
